Climbing one of the highest peaks near Almaty that can be seen from almost every part of city. Peak Komsomol was climbed for the first time on the 17th of July 1930 by a group of mountaineers from Almaty. Since then the name of the peak was changed several times Komsomol - Nursultan - Komsomol - Almaty, but here we mostly use the historical name given by the first ascenders.
