1 or 2 day climbing course for those who has experience in climbing and wants to climb some long routes. There are several places where we can practice multipitch climbing close to Almaty city and Tamgaly-Tas (almost a hundred km away from the city)

Day by day program

Depending on your time, experience and weather conditions, we will chose the area for climbing.
The program can be done also for only one day.

Day 1
Meeting in Almaty. Transfer to a multipitch area. Discussing climbing, belay and rappelling technics. Practicing in climbing.

Day 2
Practicing in multipitch climbs. Returning to Almaty.

The schedule can be changed due to safety, weather and group conditions.

Skills to be discussed during the cource

Climbing.
Top rope and lead belay technics on a multipitch climbs.
Building and cleaning the anchors.
Rappelling from a multipitch.

Accommodation

If we are climbing just next to Almaty we stay in the hut, shared rooms with full board.
It is also possible to drive to Tamgaly-Tas area. Then we stay in the tents and cook on portable stoves.

Please inform if you have any food allergies or preferences (vegan, vegetarian, etc.)

Difficulty and required physical conditions

Difficulty: from 5c top rope.
The program requires average physical conditions.

Required equipment

Personal climbing gear:
- Helmet.
- Harness.
- Climbing shoes.
- Chalk.

Price per person

280$ in Almaty / 300$ in Tamgaly-Tas
per day in a group of 2 participants/

300$ in Almaty / 340$ in Tamgaly-Tas
per day for individual course.

The Price includes:
- All planning and organization.
- Guidance and training by qualified mountain guide.
- Group climbing gear (ropes, quickdraws, carabiners, slings etc.).
- Transfer to climbing area.
- Group aid kit.
- For a 2 day trip: staying in a hut (near Almaty) or tents (Tamgaly-Tas) + lunch and dinner the first day, and breakfast on the second.

Not in the price:
- Personal insurance and emergency evacuation service.
- Personal expenses (extra drinks or snacks).
- Renting of any equipment needed.

If you are more then two, I will organize a second guide. But in any case there should not be not more then 2 participants for a guide.
