1 day climbing adventure for those who has no experience in climbing and wants to try rock climbing. There are several places where we can practice close to Almaty city and Tamgaly-Tas (beautiful area almost a hundred km away from the city)

Our day

Depending on your time, experience and weather conditions, we will chose the area for climbing.
I will meet you in Almaty. Then we have a transfer to a climbing area. Discussing climbing, belay and safety technics. Practicing in climbing.

The schedule can be changed due to safety, weather and your conditions.

Skills to be discussed during the cource

Climbing technic and safety issues.
Communication during a climb.
Climbing practice.
Top rope and lead belay technics.

Required physical conditions

The program requires average physical conditions.
Going to a gym or doing any other activities will help a lot.

Required equipment

Personal climbing gear:
- Helmet.
- Harness.
- Climbing shoes.
- Chalk.

Price per person

200$ per person in a group of 2 participants
300$ - for individual course.

The Price includes:
- Guidance and training by qualified mountain guide.
- Group climbing gear (ropes, quickdraws, carabiners, slings etc.).
- Transfer to climbing area.
- Group aid kit.
- All planning and organization.

Not in the price:
- Personal insurance and emergency evacuation service.
- Personal expenses (extra drinks or snacks).
- Renting of any equipment needed.

If you are more then two, I will organize a second guide. But in any case there should not be not more then 2 participants for a guide.
